Can i use picture in picture with lightbridge 2 and N3 flight controller on DJI GS Pro or DJIGO 4?
Using a quadcopter (tarot for example)
Without gimbals (only with servos)
With a flir 640 and a camera with optical zoom
I am also interested in dual camera setups. This year I used a Flir Vue and a DIY camera based on the Connex ProSight, see photo. Using a servo and the channel expansion kit it is possible to tilt the cameras. In 2018 I will use the Flir and a Sony RX0. The downlink for the Sony will be my Connex, see photos.

That's a very nice setup WiSi...
But teel me... It does not even work on A3 or A3Pro?
The lightbridge 2 is expensive and can't even work properly like it should...

I have the N3 and A3 FC, not the A3 Pro. The Lightbridge 2 works perfectly with both FCs.
What is the problem?

FLIR is coming out with a new dual camera package. If HD images are your bread and butter it might not be as great as a high end DSLR camera but it is 4k, and the thermal camera comes with a radiometric and higher resolution option which is impressive for the price. Note that higher resolution is compared to cheap thermal cameras that are in the ~300x200 pixel range. The Vue pro is 640x512 or so.

I saw the dual camera Roberm19... Then now it will be possible to easily change the image between it?
I´m not looking for a 4K camera... We prefer a zoom camera. That's for security...

Best regards,
The problem that we are facing is to use picture in picture with a zoom camera and a flir 640 in one control only...
That will be a great oprtion for security drones.
My understanding is that you can use PWM inputs into the FLIR camera triggered by the A3 with the expansion kit to toggle the image. We've done it with the cheaper FLIR version of the camera I posted and it works well. It even has Picture in picture support

It is possible but expensive.
