The date bug in iOS 11.1 has affected a number of apps, including DJI GO and DJI GO 4. Users may encounter instability or crashes when using these apps.

To fix these issues, we suggest trying the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Apple recently released iOS 11.2, which contains potential fixes for the problems mentioned above. Try upgrading your Apple device from iOS 11.1 to iOS 11.2.
2. If you want to continue using iOS 11.1, sync your flight logs, save all your photos, videos and other data you need, and try reinstalling DJI GO.
3. If you still encounter performance issues after your device has been updated, please contact our after-sales support team. Our app development team is working to release new versions of DJI GO and DJI GO 4 in order comprehensively solve these issues.

Re-installing the app isn't necessary - everything should work as-in after the update to iOS 11.2

11.2 didn't fix mine.  Three apps are showing up with issues.  If I do the unplug and replug, they work for a while...sometimes.  Go 4.1.8 shows "Ready to Fly" but it really isn't fully operational.

I'm now refreshing 11.2 from the computer this time rather than Wi-Fi.  Took 5 hours to get the 11.2 ready to load for some reason (Slow DSL.).  Apps are also all reloading (Two hours so far...) as is the Apple Pay again.  Had to log into GO 4.1.8 again too.

I'll see how this goes....

Yes, I have an iPhone (call me IOS Fan Bouy if you want), but I also had an Android (HTC when they were big). And honestly? There are pros and cons for both OS's.

The important part is that errors are being corrected fast.

I use IOS, not really by choice, but because it works 95% better than android with DJI Go app.  I love android, I am Fan Bouy, but knowing that IOS never have any issues normally is gonna make people mad as I say.  Was just my view on this topic

iOS 11.2.1 is also fine - the .1 update was for security.

Thanks so much for this as planning on flying tomorrow and didn't want to reinstall the app or experience app crashes after upgrading and ruin the flights. Great to know.

GO also crashes under 11.2. Only upgrading to 11.2.1 fixes the problem

This did not fix mine either.  I is not going to fix anyone’s    This is a big joke to DJI.  We all spent all this money to not being able to fly the drones.   I am going to contact the better business bureau.  https://www.bbb.org/consumer-com ... plaint/get-started.   We are being taken advantage of by a huge company that we all paid.

I am using 11.2.1 and it also freezes with  the iPad Mini 4.  The screen freezes after putting the iPad to sleep and reawakening it with Go 4 running.  I have to restart the device - sometimes several times.

Had the disco issue this morning. Took off and disco'd about 30 seconds in. Got home, updated iPad, uninstalled and then installed and tested this afternoon with no issues. Also cleared all caches and checked all other settings. All good.

I flew my Mavic and Phantom 4 Pro today and the DJI Go 4 app crashed on my iPad mini 4 about once every 30 seconds (using 11.2.1).  App would just close and then I would have to repopen.  This ruined at least 10 shots I made today and was a huge pain in the ass.

Whole reason I bought an iPad is to avoid the compatibility issues that plagued android with the DJI Go app for so long.

Have been contacting you since the latest firmware update and the fact that since the update my camera has no signal transmission all you do is lie and ignore the issue. I have a ipad mini 4. I installed Version 11.2.1 (15C153).
Then, Installed DJI GO 4 and had a successful flight yesterday, NO ISSUES.

These issues are not resolved by the iOS upgrade to 11.21. I still have no video download after a Firmware upgrade on Monday 11th December and my correspondence with support was useless as they didn't even bother to read the information I sent them. Instead they just said send it back for repair.  But it's not broken. It is the new Firmware that's messed it up and the inability of DJI Go and DJI Assistant 2 to roll it back to a previous version.

Here is what I have found out about things on my end.

Whenever you update iOS you will need to delete the DJIGO4 App and download again.  Most of your settings will still be there after the app reinstalls.  After you reinstall DJIGO4 you will need to select IMPERIAL instead of METRIC again and a few other things but all my camera settings were still intact.

I am at 11.2.1 iOS and 4.1.18 DJIGO4.  I have had several flights with no problems.  I think anytime you upgrade the iOS you will need to delete DJIGO4 and reinstall.

One other thing I have noticed and has been complained about is the disconnection of the RC and AC from the Apple Tablet/Phone.  I have had this happen to me.  It has happened while the RC and AC are powered and connected, I exit the DJIGO4 App to go set AIRPLANE Mode on my iPhone and when I return to the APP it tells me that everything is disconnected.  I have to power down the RC and AC then start over again.  Very Strange.

Should you always put your phone in airplane mode while flying?  I've never done that.

This is really. really concerning. My Inspire 2 is unuseable since the latest firmware update. Camera settings are completely messed up.. DLog has been corrupted beyond belief. The latest Go 4 app is not behaving as it should. Amongst other things indicating that there is an SSD on board when there is not. As you say, The I2 firmware can be rolled back but not the Go 4 App. My business is now being affected, I'm cancelling commissions and my reputation is being destroyed. This is a MAJOR problem.
