When finally update DJI GO for iPhone X? Why DJI Go4 already updated, DJI Go not?!

I'm on 11.2.1 and have the lightning issue. First time I initialize everything I have no control over the camera from the iPad everything works on the remote, but camera tho it's transmitting is pretty much not there for the iPad. disconnecting the thunderbolt and connecting again fixes the problem. So moral of the story is IT AINT FIXED

Please a formal announcement has been made on this. Updating to 11.2 completely fixed it.

Maybe for you.  I’m a P3P owner and 11.1.x was working fine.   The 11.2.1 and 11.2.2 update caused the DGI Go app to not be able to send commands to the camera and can’t format SD cards.  There are a few of us on this forum that have reported.  I heard that unplugging and plugging the USB once the program launched my be a temp fix.   Confirmed that pre iOS 11 works fine (an old iphone 5 running 10.33 with the latest GO app works).    I think that over the next few days/weeks you all will see there is a much bigger issue with 11, regardless of the sub updates.

The DJI GO 4 app requires iOS9 or greater

You can see this info if you search for the app on the store, view the info, then scroll down to 'compatibility'

Hi everyone,

We just bought a mavic pro and I tried multiple times to connect it and flight, but it doesn't work. I did the update of the firmware (AC and RC). I deleted/install again the app DjiGo4, turn off my mobilephone (Iphone 8) but nothing.

What is strange, is that I can connect the AC to the my phone by Wifi, but I cannot connect the remote to my phone.
Is the issue only with the RC? I do not understand...if there were an issue with the app, why it can connect with the wifi and not with RC??

I'll try to update my phone version, delete the app/download again and try to connect the AC and RC again.

I'm am only commenting on my experience.  I have an old iPhone 5 with 10.2 and both GO and Litchi worked fine with the exception of a CPU overload message.  My iPhone 5 will only upgrade to 10.33.  I did that and it still works ok.

Just read through all the problems here and I don't understand it. I bought an iPad Mini 4 back in Sept and have been using it for my Mavic and Spark all this time. During that time I've applied each iOS update (currently on 11.2.2) and both Spark and Mavic have always worked great including OTG for Spark. I am on the latest Spark firmware and the old .0700 Mavic firmware. I fly with Go 4, usually the latest although I am still on 4.1.18 for now. I also fly with the latest version of Litchi, currently 2.1.0 and have never had a problem with either app crashing or bad FPV or anything else. I even did a distance flight with the Mavic recently and reached 4.2 miles - with 4 bars of signal and perfect FPV the whole flight.

My iPad Mini 4 is 128GB and cellular (although the SIM card in it is inactive and I don't use mobile data). It is nearly 100% dedicated to flying these two drones. Besides Go 4 and Litchi, I have installed just a couple of other apps like Chrome, Google Maps and Amazon Kindle, but it's pretty much vanilla. I wonder if there is some strange interaction with other apps that's causing problems for people.

HELLO .. Since I upgraded to I.2.2.2 my Ipad mini 2 last week. DJI GO 4 is disconnected from the rc when I press the home button of the Ipad. I have reinstalled DJI GO 4 but everything remains the same. I use p4p professionally and this is a serious problem for me. Do you know of any possible solution?

11.2.2 and still having the connection problem. I still jhave to disconnect the thunderbolt and reconnect or else I have no camera control from the app

Can anyone tell me where I can communicate with DJI? They have incorrectly identified an airport and this needs to be corrected.

Just a quick note to let you know I upgraded to 11.2.5 this morning and since then my GO app can't connect to my Inspire 1 any more.

I have raised this with DJI Support already and we have tried a number of things to resolve, but unfortunately so far we've been unsuccessful.

Maybe hold off with the update until it's confirmed working.

Weather permitting, will try on some of my IOS  devices.  I’ve got some running on 11.2.5 some on 11.3. Had no issues with iPhone 8 Plus on 11.2.2

Nevermind... I hit the panic button too soon. Turns out my issue was with outta balance props.

Can’t DJI make available in the Apple Store the earlier version of the DJI Go 4 app while they are trying to resolve this issue? If the older version works with the latest IOS software, isn’t this easier than rolling back the IOS version?

I was at sears for work boots and found a $ 100 dollar turd drone on a clearance rack marked down to $49 dollars. Figured what heck, thing might be funnier then my dji drone. Funny thang is, $49 dollar discounted sears turd ass drone is more fun. Go FIGURE. Probably because turd ass drone did not have all the educated people who designed the DJI Paper Wieght I own changing our minds for us. In conclusion, when it comes to DJI  your drone won’t fly.

I have iOS 11.1 and was told my mavic air wont connect to my phone because I don't have 11.2.2. The only upgrade I have available is to 11.2.5. Will that fix my issue?

I've just been feeding my Mavic little blue pills when he has performance issues.  I never thought of updating the app!  I wonder if that'll work on me.

Seriously though, has there been any correlation between "ESC" errors and IOS or firmware updates?  I updated the firmware last week and got an ESC error for the first time when I tried to fly this past Saturday.

I restarted the drone, controller, and iPhone.  Error remained.  Restarted all three again and error cleared.  Flew the drone twice afterwards.  On second flight, drone appeared to fall from about 20 feet for no reason.  No apparent damage but I just packed it up and brought it home.

I just started the drone up again tonight (indoors on my coffee table) to check everything and the ESC error appeared again.  No3.ESC error.  I shut drone, controller, and phone off and restarted each while doing some online research.  Error cleared and everything looks good.  All the rotors "twitched" on startup.  I've shut everything off again while I'm doing more research and posting this.

New release working quite good. No issues noticed so far to me

I have IOS 11.2.5 working fine with dji go 4

I have the last updates from apple installed on my iPad mini4 and iPad pro, also the last updates of DJI GO4, but now i can't fly the "intelligent flight modes". They do not appear in the screen of DJI GO4.

Traded my Android for an Apple iPad mini 4....it came with 11.2.5 my App is 3.1.28 and having issues.
The video will not record now, and keep getting alerts of "interference" I guess I'll hang it up until they fix 11.2.5

Running a P4A with Ipad 2017.   Latest FW with IOS 10.3.3 and Go4 4.1.17 - ALL GREAT
Will consider updating when DJI reaches a STABLE platform.   Otherwise, it stays where it is.

More problems to deal with, is this what is causing my Platty to DISCONNECT in flight and leave me with a Black screen?

Only way to fix it is. "Turn it all off and back on again", and hope it doesn't do it again soon.

I'm not a Techy guy I don't even know how to find out what version my Tablet/Phone currently is?

No it isn't, and wait until you're Camera switches itself off when you are miles away, that's always fun.

If the video is not Recording on you're Tablet it may be that you are filming in 4K which you're Mini4 cannot handle? Try switching to 1080p if its the Phone that won't Record, if it's the bird then I don't know.
The Interference is something else, do you always fly in the same location?
