I really feel bad for all of you having iOS/GO4 problems. I just want to say that...

I have a MP and use iPhone 6 and iPad mini 4, both running iOS 11.3.1, GO4 vs 4.2.12 and have never, never had a problem flying, videoing, connection between RC and iDevices, updating FW and Fly Safe database via WiFi. Also, I have not had any issues with my older iPhone 6 OE battery. Maybe I am just lucky, I don't know.

HI Guys, I just got my new mavic air and I was so excited and i took my first flight an i am totally depressed. My mavic cannot even go to a height of my house. Its disconnect from controller and come to home. thank god atleast that is performing good. else it will land in somebody house.  
I am using Iphone x  version 11.3,, latest dji software and latest firmware version.
I did update the firmware using dji assistant 2,, still same issue.
I downgrade the firmware using dji assistant 2,, still same issue.
I am connecting the phone to the controller using the cable. The interesting part is when i was using my spark I never had cable between iphone and my controller.. and i never got a single drop in connection.  The only difference was I was using my old iphone 6 plus...that time   

.. very frustrating... Even my Spark seems to be smoother at same altitude and distance. and I nefver had a single drop in connection with controller. I am testing the mavic air in same place (infornt of my house).  Guys please advise..  Note: Mine I just bought from DJI official site.. The flame red edition. I got like yesterday..

Wait for all the needed GPS's to connect. I think it is somewhere between 6 or 8 GPS's.  Then fly high!

My iPhone 7+ is now on iOS 11.3.1.
My P3P is bricked...and so is the controller. There doesn't seem to be a fix for this.
Ideas guys?

Have owned my P4p since November /17.  Been thru many OS and DJI Go 4 upgrades (now 11.4) and never NEVER had any sort of glitch.  Something to think about..

If you want to know my feelings I prefer IOS rather Android for running the DJI Go application. It's correct that for the IOS 11.2.1,  some users experience diifuclties but the issue was on how installation is done you need to follow this order it's better  install Version 11.2.1 (15C153), Then  DJI Go 4.

Version 11.2.1 (15C153) is quit well compatible with  DJI Go 4.

I have not had any issues what so ever just few a 15,000 ft. total distance mission yesterday.  I've recently switched from Android to iOS, I felt that my Android devices get bogged down with too many apps wanting to run in the background no matter how many times I force stop the apps they immediately restart soaking up tons of RAM.. My new S9 is buggered up with tons of bloatware that Sprint will not allow you to remove ( Thanks Sprint). I use my phone as a phone and use the iPad for all my drone work. I also experienced tons of issues with my Galaxy Tab E. I was an Android fanboi, but now once I'm done paying for this S9 i will brick it for an iPhone 8+ the X is too damn small to be any use for flying my UAVs

My s9+ works great with the go 4 app....ios blows always get cpu overheating messages

I'm running the iOS 12 beta (public 4 currently) and have had no issues with either of the DJI GO apps. I got about an hour of fly time last weekend between both apps using my spark and phantom 3 pro.

Does the latest go for as of 12-8-18 use up more battery. With my iPad air2 at 100%. I only get 3 p4p batterys used. The iPad is dead. Or just timing and I paid is bad?.
