Hi,

I bought the drone without the RC and I have to charge directly connecting the drone to the charger with the micro USB cable. I have two batteries. Last week I charged one to 100%, but the second one stopped at 70%. Now when I plug the USB cable to the drone it doesn’t do anything. I already tried with other cables and other wall USB chargers but I cant get it to receive charge.


Please help.

Not exactly. When I connect the cable. Nothing happens. No lights at all. Should I open a case with DJI Support or should I go directly to the store where I bought it?

Go back to the store

Check out the usb port for damage, the tab inside might have been broken, the usb micro plug can only go in one way. Sometimes is the micro usb plug head is too big so it can't fit properly into the port

The head seams fine. Im also able to receive Data when plugging to my PC. I'll take to the store and see what they can do. Final workaround would be to by an external charger in case warranty won't cover.

If you can't solve the issue with the shop you should definitely open a support case with DJI. It clearly falls under warranty.

Hi, sir. All the batteries can not charge through charger now, right? If you can connect your drone with DJI Assistant 2, the USB port seems to work fine. Please keep us updated, thanks a lot.

can I use any micro usb cable or is the one I received with my spark proprietary

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I am having the exact same issue.  What did your problem end up being?
