Phantom 3 pro
Used last a year ago. I've been keeping the batteries charged month to month. Last use was with an iphone6+. Now using Samsung 8. Downloaded the pre 4 app. Also downloaded the bin file to sd card and had success updating the drone. Deleted text file from sd card and placed in the remote with no luck updating. I have tried this with 4 different ad cards. No luck.
Also when I connect everything and open the app, it only gives me the camera option on the inspire drone. When I put the phantom 3pro page up, it only offers the "how to connect" page.
What am I doin wrong ?

I had a similar experience.
Found out only 1 of the 5 USB cords would work. All made a battery charge connection, but not data.
Some were brand new!

Hey there, what's the current APP version? Could the drone be controlled by the controller? Does the issue remain if changed to another working cable or recommended mobile device?

Hi. Thanks for the replies. I've tried every S8 cable I have to connect to the remote to look at the firmware version on the remote. It will not give the camera view option ! Only " How to connect" option.
Also the drone will not recognize the remote. And I have gone through the button sequence on the remote along with the reset button on the drone with no luck, all per DJI phone call.

And I am using the pre 4 app offered on android.

Have you tried going back to the iPhone?

The remote is now updated through the app, just make sure the AC is off when you update.

I tried on a iPad air2 also. Still will not enable camera view on the app so that I can update the RC through the app.

My problem. I have Phantom 3 Pro, not Inspire

Anybody fix this I'm having the same issue! Updated now I can't connect or get into the camera mode. Nothing works. Just before the update everything connected and all was working. I did get this error from the  AC update text
Packet: P3X_FW_V01.10.0090.bin
Result: Corrupted.
Firmware bin file is corrupted, download it again from the DJI offical website.
tried 2 or 3 times always get the same error

any help would be appreciated

When you download the file do you then 'extract' the file from the downloaded ZIP file before copying it onto the SD card ?

You could perhaps try reformatting the SD card, or try another card ?

My drone and remote same as above is there a fix or are we all stuck with dead drones

Same thing here. It is reading the bin. I get  a  result message on the card that says  the rc  firmware is  newer than what I'm trying to install.

I found out my USB port on rc was broken got a rc off eBay go app works but still having trouble with no transmission signal
