Mavic battery and CS...

I personally think this is something I will purchase as it would fit my needs just nicely. Combined with my smart battery box with 120 ah AGM battery in my vehicle this would both store my batteries and charge them. I do a lot of 2 week offroad trips and thsi would help solve all my current issues.
As soon as I have the funds, i'll be making the purchase. It's always the same.. you can;t please evybody all the time folks, but at least DJI are innovators. Without them none of you would be doing what you are doing.

I read the description at DJI and did not see anything about this being sized as a carry on item.  If it's not, then it's no good for travel.

If you read the specs, it is carry on size.

Sure wish this was available to purchase. My wallet has a bulge in it that can be resolved by getting one of these.

Please also consider the Spark. We Spark users carry more batteries due to the short (15 min) flying time per battery. A simplified version for spark, say 6 batteries would be awesome.

Woow this is an awesome piece of charging equipment...but what I didn't figure out of the text is if this is like a huge power bank or it needs to be plugged to the power grid.

Great comment from someone who knows the deal.
I really love the power bank idea. I purchased one of those small power banks that also jump  starts autos from Amazon. On one single charge, it can probably jump start twenty vehicles. Also has usb ports for other uses in charging.
I keep one in my truck and put one in the wife's car.
The first day I put it in my truck, I happened to be at the market and the guy next to me could not start his suv because of a dead battery. I pulled out the power bank and vrrroom, it started right up. Priceless!!!!!

I wish DJI would go to a standard charging controller which had a universal controller and multiple adapters for the entire product line. Just like the Mavic and Phantom have their own independent  connector, so could every other DJI battery.  Thus, instead of building a "hub" that serves only one type of DJI battery, you would have multiple adapters and one charging controller.  This is a nice product but what if you travel even locally with a Mavic and Inspire 2?  Other companies that build  good charging controllers charge all types and sizes and offers options for storage, cycle, rate, etc. of batteries including Lipo, Lithium Ion, Nickel Metal Hydride, etc in one charger.  The good ones, like REVO (FMA Direct - FMA), even offer "Bump" charging where you bar code each battery and "bump" the bar code up against a built-in reader and all of the battery charging parameters are automatically set.  These types of "hubs" and "stations" that DJI is building go obsolete when the DJI Inspire 3, 4... or Mavic 2, 3.... or Phantom 5, 6.....come out with different size batteries.

Charging hub firmware just got released yesterday, it’s has the battery FW upgrade built in now. Very cool
