Cant update!  It gets stuck at 30%....

Does this update address the issue of CrystalSky freezing up?

The download stuck at 27%, then told me the download file is broken, and asked me to redownload again, then it got stuck at 27% again, cannot upgarde at all

same here...

Well - I'm glad I'm not the only one. My update stops around 30% too and then an error message shows up.

Doesn't sound like Ill be updating until these beta testers are done.

Exactly, the problem is general, interrupts with 30% of download.

Same here. Download fails at 30% with the error message 'Update Package Broken'.

just chatted with online support and he said he was not aware so gave him a link to this forum thread

Seems universal. Asked on various Facebook pages if anybody successful & so far no positives.

While the support does not resolve we will be paralyzed in the update. We have to sit and wait !.

Broken on 28% , I like the use of the word broken no holding back. Crystalsky straight to the point..

Yup tried about 7 times throughout the afternoon (UK time) and have stopped trying until we get an official update. Same as everyone else here 'broken package' at 27% download point, then prompts for a retry.

I'm hoping for you it does, lets hope it fixes your problem once and for all

Lets not all get too excited , if it ain't broken there's no need to fix it,  is my opinion.
My CS  and DJI Go4  works perfect at the moment , I hope the upgrade doesn't upset the current equilibrium, although I wouldn't mind pano on the Mavic

Well what are you waiting for,  go and fly and tell us if it's safe to update
We need someone to take the leap of faith first, since you have all 3 AC you can identify the bugs with all of them LOL

Interesting update noticed a few things so far

1) DJI Go4 4.1.18 - offline maps no longer an option, not sure what the mapping functions are now, although the mapping does work,  this is on the Mavic and P4P

Offline maps option is there when the CS can't get a location lock, it default to chinese maps, but then the option disappears when the location fix is made.

2) GPS sensitivity is apparently higher , can get home point lock indoors upstairs when previously could not get any satellite to lock on, not sure if this is the AC as opposed to the CS

3) On the smaller CS 5.5, DJI still have the map and the radar on top of each other in the bottom left of the screen.
I would prefer it if the map was in the bottom right and the radar in the bottom left like it is on the larger CS 7.85

Hi all, there was a server glitch, but it has been resolved by our engineers, please try to update the firmware again. Sorry for the trouble you have been caused.

On your point 3 for the 5.5 can you load a picture from both please ?

Here are the 2 screens on the CS 5.5in , map and radar have to toggle over each other, only one can be visible at one time

1) the map is in the lower left, lower right is empty



2) the radar is in the lower left and the lower right is empty

No problems, hope DJI can amend this, having both the radar and map visible is pretty fundamental.

I guess they'll argue that is too small to see anyway on the 5.5in screen , so you will need to open up the map to see the detail.
I just like being able to see both and then expand the map by tapping on it when needed from it's own area of the screen, which you can do on the larger CS screens

I have only ever used one at a time oddly .....  I never knew you could have both on at the same time.

Why cancel offline map function when crystalsky has no cellular network options? Give us back offline map!!

I update and I have the option of Ofline Maps
Update Version .  

So now I had the time to install yesterday's firmware update as well which now went smothly. To my very big disappointment new DJI GO 4 4.1.18 for CS has the same bugs as the one for other Android devices and does not support OTG any more. I had made a backup of the previous GO 4 version but it turned out that this didn't help. CS does not let me uninstall the new version and not install the previous version either.
Doing factory reset does not seem an option either because I would not only lose yesterday's firmware update but also the previous one. For the time being I have no other idea to address this situation than waiting for the new GO 4 version 1.4.22 when it becomes available for CS too.
But for the first time I am really disappointed!
