Try discharging followed by a recharge. If you're not using your drone for an extended period you should charge the battery & controller fully at least once every month or two. The batteries will automatically discharge to a storage level. The RC you would have to do manually as it lacks the aito-discharge feature of the batteries. Optimum storage charge is 50-65%. All of my P2 batteries save one are still airworthy still after 3.5 years. My eight P3 batteries are 2 years old but a couple are getting a bit spotty. P4/Mavic packs are all a year old & going strong. They usually last for a while if you take care of them.

Good to know especially since you've done it for 3 years. Thinking of doing the same as I go along. I checked my batteries recently and all good after two weeks of not flying. I'll keep tabs on them and charge them monthly.
