Theorically it should be possible to start an Android virtual machine on VMware or VBox on a Mac or Windows pc and get the DJI App to stream to work.  Has anyone tried it?

May be a moot point, as I am yet to find a stable Android vdi....more to follow

The Bluestacks App player did it with  Go App before version 2.6 now 3.1.23 does not run on this player. I did not try with VB and the VDI yet. I will try it with RemixOS on a Surface2.

Let us know if you run across a stable android iso and I will test the vbox.

I´m just downloading. Tomorrow i´ll get the first results.

First result: Vbox with RemixOS on an I7 is starting fast. 4 Apps in foreground are stable. I ll try to install this config to the Surface 2 and try DJI go all versions of the 3.x.x . If the weather allows then i ´ll test it if the bird in air and write down the best config on PC (Mac).

On my Surface the VDI file wan´t start,it´s the 100 GB version. I´ll have a look for a 30 GB version or i need to disable the safe boot option on my Surface to instal the RemixOS as core system parallel to Windows via Boot menu. The Core is based on Linux but it´s fully compatible to Marshmellow.

No Surface at my place, can't help, sorry. Only non work pc I have is a Mac.

It´s a mac book with  4 Gig Ram or more then use 3Gig RAM for the Vbox and use the normal WIFI module of the Mac book to connect with the P3S. Then start the Remix OS on the Vbox. I try it on my surface so i can test it in action with my bird. So i can´t take my tower pc outdoor.  I hope the tests end before 2018

No joy, this is the 2nd android vdi I've tried, both are way too lagy to use. Odd that my Win10 and Linux MInt vdi's work fine on same machine.

any luck with the Remix os?I have Remix and the dji app installed on my surface but cant conect to the controller. any ideas? (mavic pro)
