Hello everyone! Another doubt. I'm only recorded with 25 fps because I heard in another places that 25fps seems a little more cinematography, like movies that are recorded. But with 50 fps I didn't test yet. So what do you think that is better? Or what situtations is better set 25 or 50 fps Full HD?

Higher FPS  will make better slo-mo in edit, mostly 50fps is absolutely fine , the downside is the file size is larger and you will fill the SD cards faster .

I've been doing this for years.  25 is too slow.  Aim for 30fps.  But to answer your question 50 would be better than 25.

Hi there,  theoretically speaking, the 50 fps should be better than 25 fps. If the drone is at your hand, I'd suggest to test and check.

Depending on what my subject is, I prefer 25fps and keep shutterspeed around 1/50s
That (to my eye) is the most pleasing.
Only when I film fast moving objects I sometimes choose 50fps or when I want to slow things down a bit).

In what way is 50fps better?
More frames is not better per say.
It is just more frames.
The look you get is different, but not 'better' right?

I like the softer look of the 25fps for many of my projects.
More natural looking.
Motion works great at 1/50s shutterspeed, although my train movies are usually shot at 50fps.

Aloha allyssongemelli ,

The human eye has a "Flicker Rate" of 25 frames per second.  This allows jerky video or film if the camera moves or rotates too fast.  Since smooth camera movement is a desired trait, it makes sense to at least use 30 frames per second to get away from the "Flicker Rate".  Anything higher than 30 FPS allows better slow motion so that decision should be based on clip or scene demands.

No matter what your FPS is, smooth camera movement ultimately determines the quality of your video.  Obviously, it will be harder to make smooth camera movements at 25 FPS, so the videographer will have to be very talented.  That is why you see so many videos with very little sideways camera movement or vertical rotation.  Then you can also see the admiration viewers have for the talented ones with smooth rotations.

     Hope this helps!

Aloha and Drone On!

Thanks guys! I was using 25 fps, but now I will test 50 fps. As some of you said, I think too that 25 fps is more pleasant for eye, slow motion.
