Not sure why I'm getting a "Sync Failed, Retry" message today. I was using my iPad MINI 4 with the latest DJI Go 4 app. I tried to sync with my Google Pixel and didn't get that error. I have tried uninstalling, and reinstalling the app with no luck. Perhaps DJI is having some sort of database issues? I hope they can resolve the problem soon.

Having the same issue. It seemed to start early yesterday for me.  My iPad(air 2) wouldnt work, it would only get to 3%.  Funny enough my iPhone 6S worked until late yesterday, now its only getting to 53%.  I signed up to airdata.com to see what log files it could pull, it only seems to be able to pull 5 flight logs of 17 from random dates.

I just tried again this morning (12/20/17) and I was able to sync again. Give it a try guys.

Get the message sync failed at 98, this issue started years ago, finally I am getting fed up with this message. the app has been update manny times since  To day I decided to look on internet if more peole have this issue, I was suprised to see how manny complaints abot failed sync. However I found no solution.  I use iPhone 8.
