I have just looked at the Christmas sale a Phantom 4 Pro in the US is $1499, in France it is €1,699 if I do a conversion of $ to € at current rates it should be €1,261, in the UK it's £1,589 at current exchange rates it should be £1,117.9. Who's being ripped off?
Maybe it's something lost in translation. Or maybe shipping in bulk to Europe costs a lot more than to US. Fair to say though, it looks like you folks are getting clipped a little.

Yes it is possible to buy any of the DJI drones significantly cheaper from independent retailers in both the UK and France than direct from DJI.
True, almost always the case. Got my P4P Obsidian within 1-3 days with FREEEEEEE shipping right to my door.

Hi Pete, the price is different in various locations which involved in many factors. It is suggested to purchase from local authorized dealers so that you can get local warranty.

Thanks for the reply I understand that many things from shipping to local taxes can have an impact on the price but is does seem odd that one can buy a drone from a retailer cheaper than the supplier and that is ignoring the big differences between countries.
