Some time do you have seen the HD symbol on the WIFI indicator? If yes then you see the channel menu in the P3S too.  But CE and FCC setting is depending form the location. If you are in the CE area like EU and Asia you will have CE and in US and some South America (Brazil.....) you get FCC.

it does mean i switched to FCC ? IF yes... i need to prove it outdoor ...I have noticed a beautiful improvement in the image also

i was today in Dallas .....for a short time tho

This menu does not mean you are in US or other FCC compliant country. This is for seeking the most stable channel for life feed transmission. The P3SE can handle this but a P3S do it in automatic mode (default channel 13)

Will the P3S remote auto-switch channels while in flight or does it select a least populated channel as the aircraft links with the remote on power up?

It depends on the app version you use. If you go outside with 3.1.23 you will be back in CE mode within a few minutes. But if you go outside with 3.1.8, your adventure probably lasts significantly longer.

According to a Russian website you can use 3.1.8 to get the most out of your P3SE. Anyway, nobody guarantees success.

I tested it today with last FW and version app 3.1.23 , yesterday i tested indoor .... the log above , i m amazed when i tried today  use Dji GO without launching any app to fake gps ..... GPS still think movile device is in the location i use yesterday , Frisco (texas) .. this is why i don need to launch FAKE gps app again ;) today I have flown safer than ever before ..... in 3 months or 4 I have my device

it has nothing to do with the version of the FW or the version of the application, it is much simpler than that, I have not updated my position since yesterday, if I do not give permission to google to establish my location again, the phone will keep thinking what is in texas (frisco)

maybe acuweather is a simply way to fool the GPS ... not sure at all  

I ll try roll back the action maybe deleting frisco location in my movile device

Last but not least the copters GPS reads the true location and is able to send it to the RC too. But the mobile show up the fake GPS location. What data is the actual data for the RC? Think about it.

i ll try tomorrow delete the location in Texas .. allow google set my actual location ... it sure back to CE again , i used the fake Gps app ONCE ... second & third try (yesterday) + the fly of today  i didnt use the fake app again to set FCC

Fact : i deleted Frisco (Texas) location in acuweather and set my original and real posiction ,after reboot movile device and connect it normaly , i get again CE , 13 channels in 2,4 Ghz

To Get FCC again :

1st : close all connection ,wifi, mobile data   
2nd : Launch fake GPS , enable movile data and set new location in Usa, press start
3rd :  Close all connection( data movile) ... i use mode plane aftyer this step
4th : Start RC ,Launch DJI go , connect wifi movile and let connect to RC , then Start Aircraft
  


When i click on Camera after connection , a message prompt with wifi change settings advice , click OK and go

auto-switch i think , i didnt selected anything ,.. the truth I was not aware of it, i was really ejoying the flight ,  since everything was green screen ... not warning of signal loss ..and Unwanted returns home advices ...., reaching more altitude than other times without constant loss signal advices.. about 150 m

I have tried a flight today and it really makes me disappointed ! TILL THE MAX !!! same place same setting....just look at those discon weak signals....!! PLS DO SOMETHING !!! as many said..before this update everything were great but why fix something where is not broken?

Reinstall APP(clear cahce n all folders) RElink ac and rc ...airplane mode... tried both channels.........even the sparks besides us fly better and freely without error !! Whats this man!!?????

Bro...I m already in airplane mode...it's totally unusual..almost auto land on a tree .. was running ard to get hold of a signal image to cancel rth landing in a 25meter distance...

ohhh .. i see app still crashing in some ways

actually final problem is not solves bro...u still need to use fakegps to spoof ur location..... our side here is ok for the range but i do not wish to cheat it..even thot the problems is with DJI ...they should fix the issue first....
