Have been trying to get a Spark flying for the last few days.

Issues is with firmware update. Through DJI Go App, update gets to 99%, then exits with reason code and message:

"Update failed. Restart the Equipment and try again later.

Reason: 0x020c0003"

In Dji ASsistant 2. Update fails straight away, with same error code.

Reported firmware in DJI assistant is 1.00.0701... I cannot downgrade firmware nor upgrade firmware.

Attached most recent logs from DJI Assistant AppData folder.

Do a factory reset on DJI Assistant and try again one update after the other starting with the incremental next one, not the latest first. One after the other upwards would be my suggestion.

Also I'd like to add that I own two mavic's and P4P and am familiar with most of DJIs processes and procedures so far.

Wachtberger yup have tried that even after factory reset same error code. And have tried incremental up and incremental down as well as same version firmware refresh.

Hi, sir. Please use DJI Assistant 2 and upgrade again. If you still fail to upgrade it, I would recommend you export you flight data and the black box data for further analysis.

Ok, just pulled this back out after all the holidays. Update goes to 97% and I receive Error Code: 0x020b03 now within DJI assistant. In DJI Assistant... Black box data save failed. Flight data save failed.

Last time I've seen something like that was related to Mavic PRO.

Long story short, DJI released some kind of patch for those that were stuck with FW upgrade.

Hmm that would be great if they could. I literally tried every path. Upgrade a version at a time. downgrade. Side grade.  I tried using the Go App. I dont think there is literally anything I havnt tried.

I am able to connect to the Go App.. no hardware issues stated.. Just cant fly. App states update required. "Cant Fly"

If you haven't tried this yet, try to update directly from the phone to AC over wifi - to take the RC out of the equation.

Another thing to try might be to clear out your Assistant 2 install including data directory,  and try with the old Assistant 2 Beta 112.
