Disconnect Issue

So I bought a Mavic pro Platinum the other day, and I upated the firmware from 01.04.0000 to 01.04.0100. Well now I can't connect to the Go APP4. Sometimes after I shut off the Mavic and RC and reboot it will come on, most of the time it won't. I wasted a quarter of a battery before I could get it to connect to the Mavic. Does anyone have a ligit cure to this problem. I am using a Android. like I said it was connecting just fine until I updated. Thanks for your advise and input.

Is it only the app, I assume the RC connects and you can fly using it by itself ?

Are you getting the connected notification, bottom left of the app intro page  and the Mavic is auto selected by the app ?

Or Is the problem with the live video feed or all the flight telemetry after getting the connected notification ?

You have already updated and reinstalled the app to 4.1.18 ?

the problem is with the live video feed and  all the flight telemetry after getting the connected notification ? The gimbal still works and I could probably fly it, but I didn't pay 1,499.00 to fly blinded.  Remote says, "connected " , but APP says disconnected. Thanks for the reply by the way!

Some folks where having problems with the cable they where using. Maybe try there first.

If you have Litchi, I'd try that , so at least you can isolate the issue to the DJI Go4 app

I used the USB cable that came with the Mavic.

I tried using that cable a couple times but it didn't work. Works for charging the controller though.

I myself have never used the provided cable, but it seems the folks who did were having problems . It’s why I suggested it.

No problem with the stock 90 degree cable, or when using the other connector on my iPad.  Always works.

Hi Tom, please try to reinstall the APP, see if it helps.  You can also connect your phone to the USB port at the bottom of the RC via the USB cable that came with your phone, see if it works. If it persists, may I know what mobile device are you using? What is the OS version? What about the APP version?

Hello Diana, I am using a NEXUS 7 tablet, the same one I use with my Phantom3 Advanced. The Android version that I am using is 6.0.1, I think it might be the USB cable that is causing the "Not Connected" issue.  I ordered a higher grade USB cable and I am awaiting for the delivery. Thanks for your help and concern.
