By tomorrow, presents will be opened, and new pilots will have their Dji drones in the air.  Many for about 2 minutes.  Then we will get the posts claiming failures of equipment.  Everyone should remain calm and advise the newbies to the best of our abilities.  After all, it's Christmas, and we were all new once.

That's hilarious. It never happened last December, what makes you believe this year will be different? ;-)

I think drones are dying out, no one has interest in RC flying anymore. J/K

But let's see if Monday-Tuesday prove you correct...

Please include the instruction manual...I need to RTFM frequently. ;-)

I agree, I’ve been watching some of the drone crashes on YouTube and I can’t believe some of the flying. 99% pilot error.

AGREED BE KIND, we can laugh at them on the 26th, besides I think we've all been there, I crashed badly on day 4 albeit it was pure pilot error...
It would be nice if they read the manual, but today folks expect everything to be plug and play...all the way up to the point it craps out or they put it in a tree

There are no submarines here. But there have been plenty of sinking drone airships.
Hopefully, they won't be landing on water in 2018, without pontoons. ;-)

Oh, are you one if "those" drone pilots?

Flew your drone, right out of the box, did you? Many here had that plan. Originally!! Ha
That must be why there are such limited "leaflets or folders" in the shipping crate.

Thankfully, I read my manuals over and over, as we waited for that drone shipment, from China to Edmonton, via Ottawa Ont. It was right around a two month, intensive delay.
But I was so informed and in tune with my drone, long before it arrived.

That's one thing I admire about this forum, that differs from many others on the free web.

We tend to get along pretty well, with one another, and for those that differ, we oust them. Ha

Yeah, me too. Many thanks to YouTube, as we became old friends the drone and I, before she ever entered Canada. It was excruciating, but mostly pleasurable, all at the same time... ;-)

I wouldn't go so far as to say we oust them, I think we have some contentious relationships here and there but it does seem for the most part that we keep it civil and respectful, which is good

I have a large friends list here, where many have gone to greener pastures.
I know who left on good terms, and those who voiced a strong opinion, that was not appreciated by the higher ups. So they were summarily  executed. In so many words.
You may see it differently, from your perspective. But I know the facts and figures.

Nope, I put no stock in virtual friends here, especially the list...as I said, they will come and go and those I get to know avatar wise will matter more than those in a list.
I have folks who want to friend me that have no idea what or who I am, that is not the way I like to work friendships in reality, here it's whatever.

It's a shame about the forum anonymity.

As we have several celebrities in our midst, and never really knew them, for themselves.
Thankfully some of them posted their real pics... ;-)
An example would be, oh never mind. That's unkind naming names.

Yes it would be interesting to know if there were any true celebs here...however, I'm sure it's that very anonymity that they enjoy.  If they are here and they aren't making themselves known then it is obvious they are here for the sport, hobby, profession not signing autographs or answering a pile of idiotic stupid questions...I can't blame them either
There are also a lot of other interesting folks that are here from all manner of life and background and some with the ego to boot.

Anyhow, She already knows how much I love her music and super sexy personality...
Dua Lipa is a member on this forum. But she hasn't been very visible, lately... ;-)

I saw her perform this live on Kimmel, and was instantly infatuated.
