What is this cable for and do you know what type of connector it has? The cable has no more slack and it will not stay connected. It's even deformed from me trying to plug it in securely. I want to see if I can buy a "barrel connector" to extend it just enough to secure it to the craft.

Udated firmware, flys great, no problems (even with this connector dangling) !

Thanks in advance for your help.

(Sorry, can't delete the first picture, my bad!)

Can't delete this???

What is this for and what type of connector is it?

Looks like the same connector that is on the aerial wires for the stand alone lightbridge unit.

Kinda looks like antenna connectors I've come across over the years.

Here is a picture showing (circled) where the cable is connected.

In my aircraft, all the cables? come from under side near the camera except one braided cable and two very skinny wires coming from the landing gear arms which I assume go to the ESC's Also on my aircraft there is a boot around the screw jack for the landing gear. I'm wondering if the different models are configured in different ways? Like perhaps components are located in different spots on the various iterations?

but according to the position of the silver screw left of circled area, that cable comes from beneath on my aircraft. And looks as if it comes from the black plastic boxy area below your circle. So I wonder about where it is coming from on your aircraft?

Yea, the boot on my cable crosses over the "silver screw" and it can't be positioned any other way. I still have no idea what type of connector it is, I'm sure there is a "male to female" connector that's made. That would be enough for the cable to be secured.

DJI reps.....

Can anyone identify this connector, it will not stay in place, I need to find a barrel connector to extend it enough to secure it in place.

Here is mine and the routing is horrible. The wires are tight against the frame and rub. They almost double back on themselves before the connections. Not the best of ideas. It looks DJI have done it to help prevent them popping off.

Thanks "rockeyes", you have about a quarter inch more cable than I do. Mine has to come across the silver screw and that's why it will not stay connected. Still trying to find out what type of connector this is.

How can you not have a enough room?

I took off the white plastic shell of my I1 last night to have a good look around.
I checked everything and all is laid out nicely with nothing stretched beyond reason.

You gotta pic cause we both know where it plugs into?

This is NOT an SMA connector, it's actually a MMCX  http://www.digikey.ca/product-de ... -101/J596-ND/263434

It is an "RF" connector and of the top shelf environment. Not cheap nor poor quality.

These extend out the arms don't they? And pardon my ignorance but there are four of them, two on each side. What do they do? I see that there are RF connector comments, please elaborate.
