Sometimes the 750 HD display on my iPad mini 2 is choppy or has ghost images when moving the camera while in flight.
Help please?

In other words,  the display has a second or two live video lag!

Enable hardware decode through cog icon (top right) of app.

I will try that,  will that help for sure?  the mini 2 does have the A7 chip, I will also put the mini in airplane mode and put my iPhone in airplane mode as well which I keep near in my pocket.

If you don't have it enabled, yes it will more than likely solve your problem. I was experiencing similar issues with mine.

When switching mine to airplane mode that really helped. That being said, the first few times I flew it was a little cooler outside. I noticed no lag at all, even when not in airplane mode. The very first time it was 70+ outside the ipad really got heated and I started to notice the lag. Took it out later in the evening and it was perfect again. Still trying to pinpoint it when lag happens.

Dentin,  I had the same issues.  Boston helped me out, I am pasting the solution from a different form post.

I too had a lot of lag with my iPad Mini 2. What fixed it was setting the transmission settings to custom and choosing 4mbps. Try that and report back.  And to stay on topic, mine flies great after the update. I never had GPS loss before the update so I can't say the update helped it at all in that respect.  No gimbal twitches today for about an hour of flying.

Great tip thanks I thought my mini ipad was the issue compatibility issues

Also disabling video cache with help on the slower a7 devices.
