i have a "record height" of 115m in the app - however not only have i never been close to 115m but my drone is set to a 75m max. I have also checked each of my flights and sure enough 75 m was the highest ( today)

anyone got any ideas what has happened ?

I've got the same problem,  342,5 meters. There is no way to even get to that height here.  Is there a way to reset the record values?

This issue has a certain trend to become a daily one it seems ;-) The max altitude level represents the highest point of take off above sea level as hallmark has already explained. It is not the highest altitude you have flown.

You won’t be able to in dji app, but you just need to know height of mission/flight above ASL and do the math. It’s also nice if you are 5000 ASL that this is recorded .

I live in the Netherlands. That usually means that the ground I'm standing on is below or just a few meters above sea level. Unless you live in the south close to the German border but I haven't been there in years. So the height record is hundreds of meters of.

Raploc, can you provide a screenshot of the wrong altitude? And you can provide us your DJI account for further check. Thanks a lot.

It is strange to me that the max takeoff altitude in my app shows a 200 foot difference between my Mavic and my Spark when I take off from the same spot all of the time since I have had both of them. Just sayin...

At home in my backyard, that according to Google maps is 22 meters above sea level. I don't have the flight record any more

Ninja edit: I don't recall going higher then 30 meters AGL, so max indicated hight should be around 52 meters and not almost 7 times higher.

Doesn't matter how high the Spark flies, the max height is only the starting height from take off point.
And why have you deleted that record?

I did a factory reset of my phone. The camera was acting up after the last firmware update.

Then DJI should call it top launch altitude or top take off altitude.

Yep, it is missunderstandable.
But isn't the starting point, at least after a little while, the only max/top height, that can change, anylonger?
There are legal limits for max height altitudes over ground.
Which for most of us not changing on daily base, because of not leaving countries so often.
For someone in the alps, 1600m would be understandable, for you, in - x ;-) it would be a minus x meter.

The very strange point here is a height, that you can't achieve in 'Holland', except you drive to the south of it.
It is a bit unlucky, that you have deleted the relevant logs.
Have you by any chance synced it, before? ;-)

I'm guessing it is an app hiccup. I don't recall seeing that height in any of the flight records.  I thought that, like the distance record, that it was the accumulated altitude of one continuous flight. After I found out that it isn't I wanted to know if you could reset the records. It seems that you can't. It is just a small nuisance, unlike the barometer problem I seem to have when the spark is heating up.

That is an Bug in the APP. It show me also 212.1m as TOP Altitude. But i am here in North germany, my highest was 51m in the Logs and the highest mountain i can reach here is  75m (but never fly there, so normal sealevel is around 30m here) ... so it has nothing to do with the real scenarion.

I am just ignoring that summary, it's a game not a real statistic ;-)

Anyway:

The easiest way to get you 'reset':
Get your bird and yourself somewhere with this height, minimum, to fly the spark. Solved!

And before the factory reset, you did not sync your apps, to restore the datas afterwards?

DO YOU still  have the flight record from that supposed flight/day/date?
This could help DJI to find the reason for it.

This does seem to be a glitch as i have a max takeoff altitude shown as 345.2m and i know i've never had the drone above 50-60m (and have a 120m limit set), and the places i've flown are not more than 70-100m above sea level.
Also looking at your screen shot Raploc, the app claims its taken you 1h24mins to travel the vast distance of 3.268 metres!!

I guess that is the total time that the spark was airborne, I've taken a few panorama shots so it's possible that I just flew over 3000 meters total.

Something must be going wrong there...
