Trying to learn how I can use drone technology in my rowcrop farming operation. Just wondering if anyone else here is doing this, if so, how?

What is it you are trying to learn exactly?

Well, I don’t really know. I’m learning about all the stuff that can be done with a drone. But I really don’t know how to put it to use. I guess I’m just looking for a starting point. I m goin to use mine to check irrigation that’s not possible to drive to. And to take aerial photos to inspect crop health. But I know there are cameras that do a lot more than that I just don’t know where to start and how to use it to increase profit.

Go to the DJI on line store and click 'enterprise' at the top. DJI have very specialised (and expensive) drones called the AGRAS series which are designed for agriculture - from crop spraying to 3D imaging.

Since Feds will be Feds, you'll also need to look into a Part 107 Certificate since you would be using it for commercial gain.

ya true .....

Very interesting idea! I think drone using can not bring that success in farming which is expected. Also, you need other equipment such as milk separators, butter churns or egg incubators. More of them you can read here https://merry-farm.com/
