The android app has now been updated and the pano is now there for P4P users

Is there a version history i can read to see what else has been done please? its a big jump from 18 to 22

Found it, it came up in the app, theres a beta in there with map optimisations an sommat else, thing is, the mp looks older now, my house no longer shows the solar panels, unles someone nicked them during the night......

heres a general question, why does the app always default to 5.8ghz, i prefer to use 2.4 all the time.

Hi Bashy, the latest Android V4.1.22 is released at staged rollout and will be available for all users soon. Regarding the default 5.8 GHz, there will be less interference when flying in the urban. You can set the channel as Custom and fix it in 2.4 GHz.

Hi Susan, Custom has disappeared again from the menu, i do not understand why it keeps coming and going lol

Bashy, what mobile device are you using? Could you please provide some screenshots or a short video about this for better assistance?

Hi, not presently, there is no custom, only the button to change 5.8 to 2.4 or vice versa, just that button and its on the Nvidia Shield K1

when will the update be out for persons who have the built-in screen remotes we are still on DJI GO 4 v4.1.15

Ignore the screen, thats cause i have the aperture too low for inside and it was looking at a magnolia wall

The ability to customise the channel selection was not available in U.K, and I believe E.U. I think it ties in with some radio regulations. Previously I have been able to switch to custom channel selection by changing my location on device to U.S.

On Android device I think that can be done by changing language to English (United States).

In practice it's probably best to leave it on auto selection.

It might be visible when aircraft not connected.

I have seen no problems with change to custom on mine with the buildin screen, unfortunately 2.4 has been useless for the last half year.

On the other hand I might be getting my wires crossed, I was thinking more of being able to select individual channels (with reference to my P4, which is 2.4GHz band only). You're referring to being able to select 2.4 or 5.8 bands as opposed to individual channels within those ranges.

Yes, thats correct, i can choose but it does not keep the setting, always reverts to 5.8 when you start the app and i dont have the custom option as the Mod/admin mentioned. I have seen it before though, it seems to come and go between app builds and firmware's lol

PS i have no issues with 2.4 i managed a mile out, its not quite the 2.2 mile, controller seemed ok, Live View was just starting to go

Also v4.1.22 doesn't remember last map mode used, it now always defaults to standard map which it did about 4 or 5 updates ago, why did they bring it back or why don't new updates get tested thoroughly before release to the public???

That has got to be the top question of 2017, lets hope next year is different

Looks like they need more people in their R&D.

Seems us people with the "built-in-screen" (P4P+) are at a disadvantage compared to those using their smartphones and/or tablets.  It's probably easier to send & receive the update (V 4.1.22) through the phone technology.
