The cable attaching the phone to the RC is very short.
I am buying a longer one.

Someone said you can off the wifi connection in the phone.
Should the wifi connection be ON in the phone.

I am using a phone with no SIM card.

You would be safer to put the phone in airplane mode. The phone can still have active wifi with no sim card.

Hey mate sinch I am also flying my drone with out sim it’s ok u can just use wifi

It’s not recommended to have WiFi on when flying. Your user manual is your best friend.

Wi-Fi or Cell-coverage is only needed when you want to have internet connection to download maps. Without Wi-Fi or cell-coverage you still can fly the drone.
