In terms of fly aways, the GEO fence mode takes charge of your craft, complete violation of FAA requirements that you maintain control.

We just want to fly indoors, where FAA has no jurisdiction.

My flying club uses a field in North Jersey not far from Trumps golf course and we are always be "locked out" when ever he's there...which is a lot.

so you're 30 miles from DC? or Trump is traveling through your area? Either way that would suck.

DC's permanent NFZ is a 15 mile radius from National Airport, which is super-annoying but a FOL. Surprised that temporary RFZ are 30 miles when it's just 15 year-around in the DC metropolitan area.

I'm not super-happy with geofence enforcement, myself, but claiming a violation of FAA requirements is a bit of a stretch. As for flying inside, that's currently a challenge and quite risky, especially for new pilots, even if you have a very large interior space in which to fly. If you have any GPS signal inside at all, I wouldn't recommend it, as there's no way to manually place either AC in ATTI-mode, and unexpectedly switching modes in flight has caused much grief for those who try to fly inside.
