Any one try the Go4 update 4.1.22 December 28 2017 on the CS Ultra?  I'm flying a P4P.

Am I the only one waiting on this update for Pano use?

I'm not sure if I should wait for a message or go ahead and put it on an sd card.

Anyone?

I have a Crystalsky UB with DJI Go 4 app version 4.1.18. When I ‘m in the DJI GO 4 app and click on “Me”  then “Settings” then “Check for Update” , I get the message “Latest version now” at the bottom of the screen.  So, no update is available. How are you seeingthat a version 4.1.22 is available?

In the play store. I have other devices and other systems that are updated. Just not CS Ultra

No update has been released yet with 4.1.22 in it for the CS yet.

Also you can not side load it via an SD card acording to DJI

Seems kinda crappy that Djis own hardware is the last to update. Too cold to fly any way, I hope soon!!

The GO 4 for CS is a special one and different from the one for other Android devices. the .22 anyway has no exciting new features. What Pano mode are you waiting for? They are all available in the present version on CS.

I guess I'm missing something because I have no Pano modes for my P4P

I will check with P4 but so far Pano is available on CS v.18 on Spark..

Just activated Phantom 4 and searched for Pano and Shallow Focus setting on Crystalsky, but so far not yet on Phantom 4, CS DJi GO 4v.18 ...

I've got the firmware updated (see pic) and I understand that the pano works with any idevice running the latest go4, However...see  pics

You can side load 4.1.22, here is the process that should work, but there are risks

First of all I removed all the side loaded apps e.g Litchi, UAV forecast, google services for now via a clean install/ reset
Then I unistalled 4.1.18

Then using the CS browser, I went to apkpure.com  and downloaded the following files to the CS

1) DJI GO 4 For drones since P4_v4.1.22_apkpure.com.xapk (164.4 MB) , note it is a .XAPK file that will need the Apkpure android  app to install it

2) Apkpure android app - APKPure_v2.5.3_apkpure.com.apk (7.9 MB)

Instructions for the Apkpure android app, you will need to allow for the "install from unknown sources" in the CS settings

3) Install process on the CS

• Go to "downloads" on the CS, install the APKpure android app
• After install open the app, and hit the 3 lines icon in the top right of the screen to go the next menu
• Select APK/ XAPK Management tab to open
• Then install DJI Go 4 4.1.22 from here
  

Then have fun flying again

Would a Factory re-set get me back if something goes south?
