A review submitted on Google Play for the latest version 4.1.22 for Android:
"This is a poorly designed App with many bugs in this version for the Inspire 2 at least. Specifically,
1. The app is unable to connect to the transmitter / drone unless you unplug and reconnect the USB lead.
2. The app attempts to force the user to update the drone's firmware, even if there is an inadequate data connection (e.g. it attempts to perform a drone firmware update of many hundreds of MB via Cellular data with no WiFi connection).
3. The app displays a red error status for the Visual Protection System (VPS) even though there is no error before takeoff.
4. The app does not preserve user settings for previous versions if you install a later version of the app.
5. It is not possible to revert to previous known stable versions of the app.
6. There is an inadequate pre-release testing programme, DJI users are not consulted or involved prior to new releases.
7. Features of the App are inconsistent between different drone Devices, e.g. PoI and Waypoint and offline planning modes are supported for cheap consumer drones such as Mavic, but not for the more expensive commercial market drones such as Inspire 1 and 2"
