I have been trying to add the Remote Identification values ("Identification" and "Flight Information" - see attached screenshot) - I type in values and hit "Apply", then come back later and they are gone.  Using WifI (no OTG), app version 4.1.20, AC version 01.00.0900 and RC version 01.00.0400. FYI, entering my FAA certificate number for "Identification" value, and Name, mobile number and email for "Flight Information".  Any ideas as to why it's not permanently saving the data entries?

Thanks for your update. I mean the model of your mobile device. Please try to update to the latest version of app and try again. I would forward this situation to our engineers for further check.

Using iPhone 7 Plus with IOS version 11.2.1 (latest) ... and have tried the newly released 4.1.22 of the DJI GO 4 app - with no change. The Remote Identification values are not persisting after I attempt to enter them, as before. Thank you for your help.

hi, it seems you lost connection to your aircraft. Since the identification info need be need to be synchronized from your aircraft, please make sure your app connected to your drone. If it still doesn't show, try reboot drone and app.

DJI Elektra - I did as suggested in 8, above - still having same issue.
- DJI Go 4 app 4.2.4
- AC firmware 01.00.0900
- RC firmware 01.00.0400.
- iPhone IOS 11.2.2
- iPhone 7 Plus

The attached image shows the user experience when trying to add the Remote Identification field (same applies to the "Flight Information" field as well).  After connecting to RC via Wi-Fi (no OTG):
1. I enter a value in the "Remote identification Field"
2. I hit the blue "Apply" button
3. I get an error message, "Apply Failed" - every time.

Still not working - need help.  Thx.

@DJI Elektra - One more check - any update on this. I have upgraded to aircraft firmware version 4.2.6 (everything else the same as above) and still have same issue with adding Remote Identification info - - with "Applly Failed" message -- Any Update? are others having this issue?

Ive had same problem, restarted app and drone and all firmware for drone, batteries, controller everything is lastest version.

Ive been having the same problem "apply failed" then It had a different notification "droneld is more than 10 alphabetic character."

Also same problem with Spark here today 2021 with all new firmware at drone and remote and iOS 14.

Any solution found for this?
