New firmware

Dear customers,

Thank  you for your participation in the Closed Beta for the Phantom 4  firmware v2.00.600. We are currently inviting you to participate in the  Closed Beta for the Phantom 4 firmware  v2.00.700. If  you want to participate in the test, please reply with confirmation.  After the confirmation, we will push a test version to your account  within two  business days.

Here is what’s new:

1. Optimizes the flight limitation feature.

2. Fixes an issue where the gimbal and camera might be restarted.

3. Optimizes flight performance and enhances flight stability.

This looks like a hoax to me, all DJI officials post as Administrator or DJI Support badges..

If in doubt then message one of the DJI moderators directly. For example DJI Susan, or DJI Thor etc.

Yes posting private e mail addresses on open forums no matter how friendly they seem is not always a good idea.

I have firmware version 5.23.00.100.
But I am from the phishy future.
Feel free to post your email addresses so I can sell them to spam vomiteers.

So it may be genuine, or phishing perhaps, I would treat with caution at the moment until one of the Administrators here confirm it.

I am currently on the Beta program and can see 02.00.0600 and all the previous Betas, but nothing new as yet.

When we see postings from developers/engineers they do not use the DJI logo in name or avatars.
But anyway if following the forum rules no one should post their account information in public what ever it is a user with DJI logo or not asking.

Yes I just tried that, interestingly the first time I ran it, it only offered me the option to downgrade from my current 02.00.0600 Beta to the last official release (yes 02.00.0106).

After logging in again however all is as before, I can see the Betas up to 02.00.0600, and the last official release.

Try re-running Assistant 2, I had the same as you, but came good after re-running assistant 2 and logging in.

I believe this is a REAL Beta update, I also received the email and I am looking forward to participating.. Make sure your RC and Batteries are charged and ready to go. Last update was done through the DJi App Only.

I think everyone who participated in the beta 600 will receive the same email
the problem as you say is that everyone thinks that by email here they will receive the new version!

I'd think that a confirmation from the moderators should be forthcoming if a new beta FW is to be released. At any rate I fly for fun, and standing outside in freezing temps I don't consider fun... Another factor is that even with improved weather, I use either GO 4 or Litchi as needed, and I have no confirmation that the Litchi folks have any developer updates past the official July FW release. I'll wait a bit.

You can't tell everybody to post their e-mail addresses here.

Today, we have been notified to confirm the new firmware.
I'm not the only one and the others... we all expected a new firmware Phantom 4  v2.00.700.
I hope the administrator will confirm it... soon new firmware v2.00.700.
