Hi

I bought a new Inspire 1 from a company in London.
The kit was sent to me direct from America.
I have a new tablet with the dji go app installed successfully but even though I am following the set up instructions, the controller won't link to the aircraft.
I turn on the RC, then start the dji go app, then turn on the aircraft ..nothing happens.
Same sequence then press the linking button on the aircraft..nothing happens.

The red light remains on the controller and the aircraft has a blue light.

The aircraft, obviously is still in travel mode.

As you can imagine, this is upsetting and frustrating as I keep reading that the aircraft and controller must be linked before any adjustments can be made..

Can anyone help.

I have read a lot about this problem occuring after firmware updates but this doesn't apply because the aircraft and controller came as a sealed package brand new .

From within the app, go to the Remote Controller Settings page, scroll down to and press "Linking RC" then press the red linking button on your I1.

Does a warning come up and say anything about frequency when you try to link  ?

When trying to link, Does the timer  start counting down on the go app that says you have 60 seconds to press and hold the red button in the nose of the AC ??

If so that means you are not on compatible Fw between the AC and the RC. ( the frequency warning )

Le us know .

glad to hear it worked out for ya

useful tip when doing the firmware updates. ALWAYS do the Inspire 1st with the RC off... then turn off Inspire and do the RC 2nd. many people (including me) have gotten the inspire stuck in travel mode by updating the RC 1st. also remember how to link/bind the AC to RC cause after some FW updates you will need to do it
