I'm interested in any and all reports on how well this works. I'm still waiting for DJI to replace my defective Mavic Pro, so I don't have to update yet... But I have an itchy trigger finger when an update is available! If you've updated and flown, how was it?

It's seems perfect! .22 now shows more battery info too on the MPP - including the date the battery was first manufactured - I presume this is for warranty purposes. The about section in the app now enables individual update checking of the FW and the precise fly database too. That said it seems to be more for adding the Pano feature to the P4 series and more bug corrections for the Spark.

I'm curious: Is it likely that updating to .22 will require a parallel FW update? (i.e., is this a common scenario?) Thanks.

I wonder if this is a regional thing.  I'm on 4.1.20, but my the app store does not show a new version is waiting.

The firmware update ntc did not show up on my RC screen until yesterday, along with a Gofly safe zone update.  Actually, it let me "ignore" both yesterday, but when they popped up again today I went ahead and did them both.  Using an Ipadpro9.7 as my device.  DL and install took probably 30 minutes total.  Only prob was that the RC hung on "connecting" on boot up, but I forced another reboot, and all was good!  Have NOT flown it yet, but mavic, RC and IPP all came up and showed "ready to fly".

Apparently mine was a belated update to v01.04.0100.  However, I did also do the newest 4.1.22 of DJI GO4.   I will verify version number next time I pull out and connect everything, unless I can tell on my iPad without the magic connected?

DJI software rollouts are usually staggered so that everyone doesn't update at once. Look for an update to appear over the next few days.

I would like to help to delete it. And update the app will not require the firmware update of the drone. No worries.

The firmware v01.04.0100 has already released on 23/11/2017. And DJI GO 4 v4.1.22 is now released by stages, some users will receive the update but others might not. Please wait patiently.

I have updated to .22 with no issues found on a table run. Will get outside tomorrow and practice baby steps for awhile. Will report any issues. I'm using an iPad Mini 4, iOS 11.2.1 for the app.
