No from Sydney, my related family through my wife is Japanese se we are here 3-4 weeks a year. It is so much more photogenic and less nanny state around drone flying here

Nice. Were you able to get the Japan map on your DJI GO app? I couldn't when I flew in Japan, didn't give me full confidence to fly my Spark there!

No actually just get the basic backing map with some basic detail but all I need is where the home point is and what direction I am facing. The rest can be done via live feed. Offline maps are not available in Japan but I haven't had any issues yet.
