I get "cannot detect camera lens" everytime I start up the P4P.  Most of the time I cannot adjust the aperature. It jumps back to 2.8.  Suggestions?

Do you have an ND filter on the lens?
Can you see the view from the camera on your phone/tablet?
Initially you could try a camera reset and if that does not help, refresh the firmware.

What setting do you have on?

Latest update on iPad dpi go 4 and the P4P firmware.  It was happening before also.   I can see the image, although like some others, the image transmission takes 2-3 minutes to show up.  On the still photo mode, in auto, P, or S, the aperture jumps back to 2.8.  

Oh..and no filters.
