It's gone a bit distorted uploading but thanks and happy new year to you and the DJI team.

This is one of my favorite/best photos of 2017. This is the Tarasp Castle in Graubünden, Switzerland. A recent expat from Hawaii now living in Switzerland. I am exploring all of Switzerland and love seeing it from the sky. As far as New Year's wishes goes, here is mine ;)

2018 = "Immerse"

This is the year I go all in. No longer adapting, now Immersing... (My word for 2017 was "Adapt" and yes I'm cheesy like that.

1. Speak in only Germany with my wife. Trial period is a month, if it goes well, we go longer. If it doesn't, we re-evaluate. P.S. It is not as easy as it sounds... Already have to communicate some things in English.
2. Volunteer more.
3. Attend more "Networking" events. As much as I love these, I don't. It all depends on the events...
4. Putting myself out there more "In Switzerland"
5. Start freelancing for real this time...
6. Taking more portrait photography with random people.
7. Possibly taking a photography class, more for color correction/grading/histogram/etc. It helps with both my photos and videos.
8. Releasing more BTS videos of our Swiss Living.
9. Seeing the rest of the cantons. Only 9 left to go. But they are far in which it requires weekend trips. In 2 years we will have seen all 26 cantons of Switzerland.
10. Back to Deutsch. I hope to be around Mid-B2 level by end of year.
11. Lastly but surely not least. Get a Job! Or at least be able to make enough from freelancing. Or volunteer/help with so many different companies it becomes a job.

And since it's the DJI Forum, I hope to fly more around Switzerland and showcase how beautiful this country is

I have various videos and images, but feel my last/previous video was one the kids enjoyed the most. I will post one of my favourite images later.
This video was shot in South Africa's Western Cape province, a region called the Klein Karoo (semi-desert area) next to the Cango Caves. I hope you enjoy this.

Here is my best video for 2017.  I love farming with family and friends and sharing with all.

Roye Williams elementary school, aberdeen maryland.

This was the shot along Pacific Coast Highway that through the years I'd drive by and want to take, but to get it right, it requires a drone. This was one of the main reasons I purchaed my Spark.  Estero Bluffs California State Park.

Thanks to DJI and DJI Grace (and all the mods), I've had 3 videos featured on this forum plus 1 on digest content. However, the most satisfying one for me is my Tutorial Video for Basic Cinematic Drone Moves. Split into two parts, it's got 71 moves with samples, controls used and a tip or two on each one. This was a TON of work, from planning to editing. I'm not too happy with my coloring since this was my second try with Premiere Pro, but I'm VERY GLAD that people find the content useful! When I started flying my first drone late March, I was surprised that famous Youtubers only  put 5 or 8 moves on their tutorial videos. This encouraged me to make one myself that would be comprehensive enough for beginner flyers, especially since DJI launched 6 drones in 7 months that time and a lot of people have opened their eyes to drones.

I only really have one "work" from 2017, and it was my first drone edit, but I'm pretty happy with it! Attached my favorite photo too.
