Hi I recieved an Osmo Mobile as a gift.

I have tried charging it with my Aibook Laptop and with an ipad charger, using the supplied Osmo Usb cable.

After the OSMO worked for about 3 minutes it died. The batterij does not seem to charge. No lights light up
when attached to a charger.

What should I do?

Could be the charging cable. Shame cable does not have a standard connector. They are available from Amazon with Prime delivery in 2 days. If the cable does not fix problem it is easily returnable at no cost.Marty

Clean battery-contacts with alcohol and cotton swab... Was suggested by one of the DJI-employees in another thread on this forum. You did remove the plastic film from the battery before inserting it in the Osmo?

Hi Paul, sorry to read on this.
Like Mari mentioned, please try to wipe the copper sheet inside the battery compartment with 95% alcohol and cotton swab. Let the alcohol air dry. If it does not work, wipe the battery contact with alcohol and cotton swab.  
Besides, do you have a second battery to have a try?
Have you tried to turn or pull out the charging cable a little bit to see if it works?
