I purchased my drone last year in preorder with insurance directly from DJI. It shipped from DJI Dec 16th it took approximately one week to get. I can’t remember the exact date around 21-22ish. Anyways I crashed my Mavic Pro Nov 25th and on Nov 27th I tried multiple times to send it in for insurance. It kept giving me errors so I created a help desk ticket explaining what was happening. A few days later while I was out of town (I travel 75-90% with work) I received an email stating. Oh you have to submit it online (exactly where I was having the issues) with no help at all. When I got home from the trip it was Dec 20. I did not know it was close to the end of the insurance period but I had to call in because it still would not take my claim. I was informed my drone was now 48 hours outside of the warranty and to send it in and they would “see” was was wrong with it. I could possibly get covered. After a few weeks I get the bill $375. Even though I had ticket numbers confirmation that the website was not working they would not honor the insurance. I am thinking of taking the screenshots to the major YouTube drone reviewers to see if they could help. It’s more of a principal thing. If I would have crashed the drone and tried to fix it after the insurance I would gladly pay to get it fixed. What makes me really mad is that I talked 7 different buddies into buying the Mavic. Any suggestions?
