I recently packed up and left southern France to return to Australia.  I'd sold off my P4P and MP before leaving and, after a hiatus, I've  just picked up a new Mavic Pro Platinum.  
One thing I've noticed straight off is that the Sport mode and P-mode don't seem different.  Used to be when I switched to Sport it was muuuuuuch faster.  Any ideas why this would be?  I've disabled Beginner Mode. What am I missing?!

Have you got the multiple flight modes enabled? Does the controller actually say SPort mode when you switch to it?

I've made this mistake before. I forgot to enable Multiple flight modes !

Ensure multiple flight modes are enabled and that you are flying in light wind - I've hit 41.6MPH in Sport mode only last week with my MPP

Like other users mentioned above, make sure that you have enabled Multiple Flight Modes in the MC settings, and please try to enter the Sport mode after taking off. If it doesn't help, may I know the max speed that you can reach? Looking forward to your reply.

I have also noticed my speed appears down. I only ever switch to sport after i have launched. Recently did a strong wind speed test and thought at the time that the speed what less than i expected. Then i did another test and it appeared my max flight speed did not top 16m.s. i will pay attention to this again when next i fly.
