There seem to be lots of posts on what to do & what not to do with the aircraft's smart battery.  Little mention of the Controller battery.
Should it also be stored at 60/65% when out of use for a while ?

Hey Manxmann, it is recommended to store the RC battery around 65%.

Yes ..

But also understand that the power demand of the RC battery is quite low and even a damaged battery from lack of storage will usually perform well.

I have crapped out LiPo's that I cannot flt RC with ... but are excellent RX and Tx power sources. The power demand is low enough that the Internal Resistance - which is the real killer of LIPo's - has little effect.

My 6 RC transmitters with LiPo's all stay charged ready to fly at all times ... 4 of those are many years old... still same batterys.

I just thought I would mention this concerning the RC controller battery. The RC controller battery takes a long time to charge. While using a P3P 100 watt charger, it takes 3 hours to charge from approximately 35% to a full charge 100%
