Hello fellow Mavic pilots,

Unfortunately, I’ve recently crashed my drone in what I would usually blame on the drone. However, I’ve come to a realisation that it probably was my fault and therefore I’d prefer to not make a fuss about it, and therefore get it fixed right away. I was originally going to try and get a cheap bloke to patch it up, but after reading numerous reviews and seeing how good the DJI repair team is, decided that maybe my best option would be to send it back to DJI. I believe that I’ve only ripped the Gimbal Ribbon. I was wondering what you think the price would be, and would any other users recommend me doing this over someone else?

Thanks for your time!

If you choose to do it yourself here is the link for instructions that I used when I did mine:
You can get the flexi-cables from ebay for £5 from China or about twice that in Oz.
You will also need a 1.5mm Allen key and a couple of watchmaker's cross-head screwdrivers. Oh, and good eyesight and a bit of patience. Takes about one hour to do it for the first time.
Make sure you work on an un-cluttered surface, some of the parts are very small. Don't be put off. Good luck!

Sir, sorry for your accident. Since your drone crashed, it may have other damage. I would recommend you contact our support first and send it back for further check: http://www.dji.com/support. Also, if your Mavic is under warranty, you can provide them the flight data to locate the problem. For your second question, you can check the price of accessory in our website: https://repair.dji.com/repair/price-inquiry. Thanks for your support.
