I am yet another person interested in the panorama mode for the P4A.

So just for my benefit and just to confirm:

1 It finally looks like Panorama mode will be added to the P4A ?

2 Currently, its only at the Beta testing stage and if these tests are positive, it should be rolled out as a regular release ?

3 If we really want it now this can only be obtained by applying directly through your good self (email account only) to enrol on Beta test ?

4 Based on other releases(and not holding you to exact timelines as subject to testing) what are your realistic time lines based on other products when you would estimate it would be fully rolled out as a regular release ?

Jake, does the issue just appear after installing the beta firmware? If yes, please try to refresh the latest official firmware via DJI Assistant 2 for troubleshooting, and keep us posted on the latest progress, thanks!

3. Yes. After collecting your DJI Account, the right team will add you in. You can login your account in DJI Assistant 2 to refresh.

Hi,

I don't want the beta because I don't want that my drone fly away and don't fly back and because I have trouble installing new firmwares. I don't know why, but it doesn't work.
So have you an idea for the release date of the final version of the firmware ?

So can I please ask, by installing the beta version what exactly extra did you get, just the pano mode ?

And this was for your P4A or P4A + ?

Am I correct in assuming, if for example you thought you had issues, its relatively simple to revert back to a previous version of firmware ?

Finally, have you had chance to try it and any examples ?

The beta will not affect the warranty. In case any accident happened, we will arrange data analysis to check the exact status.

Also, I have no idea when the official will release, sorry about this.

Hello All,

Thanks for your patience. Currently, the beta firmware for P4A is available. This version will fix a rare issue where progress could stall during gimbal auto calibration and add the Pano shooting mode(with Android V4.2.8 or higher and IOS V4.2.12).

Yes, the beta firmware introduces pano, you can check the message of 9# in this post. The beta firmware is V01.00.0800. You can find the RC version from here: https://www.dji.com/phantom-4-adv/info#downloads
