Hi all

new owner of a MP but live in NFZ so cant fly it
was getting an error on controller to check app
so tried to calibrate the compass and all the sensors and was constantly failing !
tried everything well i thought lol
Who knew there were 2 stickers over the front facing lenses not this guy
took them off and boom calibrated everything woooo

so for anyone that cant get calibration done
PLEASE CHECK FOR STICKERS ON YOUR DRONE !!!!

Yeah, always best to check the drone over thoroughly before you even turn on the battery on and read the manual too.

lol yeah i felt rather stupid

Your not stupid, just one of the crowd. Most of use have forget stickers, gimbal lock, etc. at one time or another.

Hi, there. It is really important to do the preflight check, please read the pre-flight checklist carefully. Hope it will help.

On a related note: I recently had an issue where I got a 'Sensor Require Calibration' notice when I'd go out to the street to practice some takeoffs/landing/creeping around in Beginner mode. Couldn't calibrate on the street. Problem went away on next startup, but then came back on subsequent startup. Was advised to use Assistant 2 for calibration, but I could NOT, until I shut down and DISCONNECTED my external monitor from my MacBook Pro. Then all worked fine and Sensor calibration was a success. You may also need to change screen resolution for this to work.
