I would NOT recommend anyone to take a drone into Iran, especially when arriving via IKA airport. The troubles I had on leaving the country made me almost miss my flight out. Had to answer questions for approx. 1.5 hours with a variety of officers who thought I am a spy. So: Don't bring a drone to Iran.

About the fog: it was a combination of smog (Tehran is polluted unfortunately) and the cold (it was snowing, as you could see). The view was very  lousy, even from Tochal:
