Hello all,
Zenmuse Z30 with Matrice 600 Pro. I'm only able to save images and video files on a 16 Gig SD card, nothing is saved on a 64 Gig card. Any thoughts on why this is happening? Zenmuse Z30 manual indicates it should work up to 64 Gig. Thank you.

Card is formatted as ExFat. It is one of the available formats. And why would it work on a 16 Gig but not 64G? Also, I'm able to format the the 16 Gig through the settings in the DJI go but unable to format the 64 Gig.

SanDisk Ultra 64GB microSDXC UHS-
Samsung 64GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSDXC EVO
SanDisk Ultra 32GB microSDXC UHS
All class 10

So mad and frustrated. Brand new Z30, can not accept more than 16Gig card. Tried 32G, 64G, does not work. Cards come out empty. Contacted DJI, shipped camera to Cerrito, CA to get fixed, was there for 3 weeks, got it back supposedly fixed but, same problem. Thank you DJI for time, money and efforts wasted. $9K new camera and not as advertised. I understand that it's only 2MP camera and the 16Gig card will probably get me about 1000 images BUT, for the price, I want the camera as advertised can handle up to 64Gig  and also does the dishes when possible. Frustration high.

for my z30, i use a 16 GB, sandisk extreme micro sd, type 3. estimates over 4 h of video recording, no issues. format on PC each time before use/after footage download. no issues with sd

Thank you for your reply. I understand that 16 gig is enough for one flight. My frustration is that the camera is advertised as capable of up 64 Gig.
Curious, what are you using it for?

z30 - did a wind farm on the weekend and a water tower the weekend before.

Outstanding. I would love to do wind farm. May I ask you few questions regarding the wind farm?

How far away from the tower was the drone?
How long did  it take for each turbine?
Did you do it alone or 2 person job?

Sorry for asking too many questions but, I got into this industry for the purpose of the wind turbine.

I saw somewhere can’t find it now and not sure it was for the Z30 but it may be that the brand of SD card isn’t supported.

Thank you PineBeetle for your reply. I have tried so many SD cards without success. The camera only works with 16G.

definitely a 2-person job. my ontario uav licence requires 2 people. plus, when i got green video feed and lost signal to m210, the visual observer better know where the uav is.

as we arrived at site, 2 of the 8 wind towers were off, by the time we got close to them, they all were rotating so we keep a good laterial distance. 100 ft maybe. when i did go between towers, i had to do a 360 to gauge my physical distance cuz camera's and zoom might lie.

burned 4 sets of tb55s, 1.5 h in air or something, was subzero and windy. if the tower is off, for sure you can do a very detailed job under an hour with the z30/x5s combo. the 2 MP sensor is a bit a of a joke, had it not been for the in-air stability and optical 30x (the pro grade skyranger uav is unaffordable but had 30x and 20 MP, not 2).

i called dji enterprise support today. the dji recommended i tried another sd card for my z30 frame loss problem (i get 27.03 fps as opposed to the full 30 frames per second as advertised, see forum URL https://forum.dji.com/forum.php? ... p;page=1#pid1260027), not the original dji 16 gb class 3, so you can use a larger capacity one on the z30 as long as its class 3. m210 and z30 accepted a 128 gb class 2 sd card. but my 27.03 fps on the z30 remains...

Please also have a look to your video files from your Z30, and check the number of frames (file/propriety) or using Adobe Premiere... to see if the loosing frames only appears on few isolates case or or to M200's serie or to every single Z30....

yeah, sorry, technically sd card UHS-3, Class 10. a 128-gb worked on my z30. 33 hours of recording at 27.03 faqin fps
