This morning I flew my new Spark for the 1st time.

This drone thing now has me completely hooked! I have been on a high all morning, and now I keep on bouncing between my car and the launch site to charge batteries.

Thanks to you guys for the countless tutorials and YouTube clips I've watched - the Spark and I had an instant connection. The posts were hugely informative and helpful - I'm really happy that I took the time (many hours) to soak up all the suggestions and shared experienses of DJI owners.... so thanks a ton guys!

I do feel like I'm cheating on my photographic relationship with GoPro and Canon... but this Spark love affair is just too good to deny

Excellent, welcome to the family. I have had my Spark for 6 months and just love being outdoors flying, and fully agree with the help from the Forum family , and yes, my Go Pro is a little sidelined at this moment.

Get the portable charger with extra two batteries, that can keep you flying for quite a while and get those small inverters that can charge out of the cigarette lighter so you can  keep charging on site.

Hi, thanks for the input.
I do a lot of traveling in the bush so my power supply setup is sorted.
Duel battery setup I'm my Jeep, with an inverter for charging - so this morning I did exactly what you suggested.
This morning I went filming. After the 1st flight It took about 40 min to recharge the depleted battery (luckily I bought the Fly More Comb). While all that was going on I could plan the next flight, get into the air, and get on with doing the fun part.
