My iPad mini is about 3 years old.  I'm running version 9.3.5 so I expected that the app would be supported.  Where can I get the GO 4 app so I can use my iPad instead of my phone?

You need the ipad Mini 2 or later to run dji Go 4, are you sure you don't have a mini 1?

hmm... I don't know how to tell.  I have the model number.  Maybe I can go to the Apple webpage.  But even if I have the mini 1, is there a version of Go that will run on it?   If DJI doesn't have one, is there an 'after market' version?

Thanks....  that resolved it.  I have an iPad mini 1.  So is there anything I can do to run an app to control the Spark?

No.
Ipad 1 only has 512mb RAM and does not suport 64-bit apps.
It would probably be too slow anyway.

Thanks....  really sorry to hear that...  I was hoping to use my mini for better viewing...  I don't see as well as I used to!!!

Sir, I would recommend you use the recommended devices to fly your spark. Thanks for your support and understanding.

In order to download and install go4 your apple device MUST have A7 or later chip as per DJI instructions, that is all.

thanks for helping me figure out what iPad mini I have and what the specs are for the one I need to get.  Very helpful...especially before the purchase!

Do you mean to ell me, I also cannot run DJI Go 4 in my iPad Mini? How frustrating! Would anyone give me hope, for my iPad Mini to run DJI Go 4 App?
