I have just bought a Mavic Pro and seem to be having issues with the video qaulity.  I am using +1 on the sharpness and 0 on eveything else.
I'm shooting in 4K @ 24fps and it looks like 1080p to me, in fact it seems no better than the Spark video. The drone also seem to be crabbing to the right.  I have calibrated
the imu and compass but no luck. I am on the lastest firmware.

Try 2.7K at 30p. The sensor in the Mavic and Spark are the same size - 1/2.3" - the max video bitrate of the Mavic is just 60MBPS so shooting in 4K will present less than perfect image quality, especially at 24p which is very cinematic. It's even more important to get the right exposure variance and create the 180 degree rule on the Mavic when using it's maximum resolution. It's capable of shooting 4K but is not the best IMO. 2.7K is the Mavic's sweet spot. As for 'crabbing to the right' this could be caused by the props being unbalanced, heavy winds or a fault with the drone if you've already calibrated the IMU.

As cpt ACW says with the camera, i have been all over the place on my settings till recently when i have settled at 2.7k and finally getting better quality that makes me happy. My own settings are at -2-2+0. Seems the only value most agree on is 0 at the end. -2 in the middle was the most common middle value i found after research. the first value depending on differant users ranges from +1 to -2, mine set to -2. Also i use the Blue filter (not d-cine or d-log etc) it looks nice for me - i do not do post processing. nd filters are essential to maintain the 180 degree rule. without filters i did get lucky sometime in just the right light but mostly i was overexposed and sometimes to dark - i do not think it is properly possible to maintain the rule w/o nd lens.

wrt crabbing - the rc sticks are very sensitive. Just maybe your thumb is resting just a bit too heavily on the stick and what you think is centred is actually slightly off centre and causing the crabbing. Of course if it does this with your hands off the controller - that is another thing, cant help you there.

Hi there, just to verify, do you indicate the videos that are cached on the mobile device or the videos on the SD card? If it is on the mobile device, then it is normal, the cached video is only the transmission feed, you might need to watch the original videos from the SD card on the PC. If you are already viewing the original video, please kindly upload a sample from SD card to Dropbox and paste the link here for a further check. Thank you.

Hi , if you shoot at DLOG , use uhd 30 fps style 0,-2-2, then do a color correction.
Sharpness 1+ is to much noise on 4k

Here is the footage i shot, it was just after sunrise. Shot at colour none the at 0 0 0 for the settings @4k 25fps.

Ok i thought there was something wrong with the camera, do I return it to the shop or since I bought the DJI care refresh should I go to DJI support?

I dunno, doesn't look so bad to me, considering the low light -- the Mavic doesn't really shine until there's plentiful light.

But why is the bit rate 80mbps? DJI will want to see an unedited example straight from your MicroSD card to evaluate your issue.

The last link is from the sd card, not touched by me or edited in any way.

Besides the file renaming? What confuses me is the bitrate, which should be 60mbps instead of 80mbps.

Reference the crabbing to the right, please see this thread.. I'm on my 3rd replacement for the same issue. Can I suggest you add your information to that thread too? DJI needs to know it's a more common problem than they admit.

Not trying to patronize you but you have tapped to focus or set the focus manually yes?

I second the question by Malakai UK. Being inadvertently OUT of focus is a common issue with this system. To reduce that likelihood, I've set up the C2 button (one on the right, bottom of RC) for center focus, and also tap the screen to focus on a selected area.

yup I know about the focus still looks rough to me.

I looked at your footage and it doesn't look bad at all, before editing of course. Have you tried resetting the camera options to default and see if it works better? But again, the quality isn't bad at all. Just my own opinion of course.

Yeah, I think the P4P camera is better-spec'd, isn't it? You can try bumping up sharpness in low light which can help, but in bright conditions I find even at 0 is a bit oversharp for my tastes.

yes i will take it back not sure how the care will be having just payed 100 pounds on this serial.

I just tried to reset the camera and it fails, I have 5 times now no luck, DJI support what do I do, I believe the camera is faulty so do I take it back to where I bought it or is it through you guys to repair it.
