I got this message at 0m 37.3s into the flight. Funny thing is the drone was at least 1440 meters from the nearest NFZ at that moment (checked afterwards using Airmap and Google Maps). I use 3 apps to check if I'm allowed to fly, Airmap, UAV Weather (with customized enlarged NFZ's) and ASR Vlieg Veilig (Dutch App). None of those showed me and the drone being in a controlled airspace. I got this message every time into a new flight. What could be the trigger for this message? Here's the example (0M 37.3s):

Your aircraft flying in NFZ could be caused by bad information coming from dji, they have been continually updating NFZ changing miscalculated ones, I think you should report this to dji and maybe this will help in getting them to change inaccurate NFZ.

Raploc, please tell me the place you fly your drone. I would recommend check the NFZ in our website: https://www.dji.com/flysafe?site=brandsite&from=footer. Thanks for your help.

Hi Elektra, here are the coordinates from where I started:

51°18'12.3"N 5°22'56.5"E

That's approximately 1.5 KM from the NFZ. The screenshot is taken from the responsible government agency webpage (https://kadata.kadaster.nl/dronekaart/).

Hi Elektra, It seems that the flysafe site classifies G class airspace as C class in my case. Also your restricted airspace zones are not in line with the official ones, as an example it's way to small around Eindhoven Airport.

Sorry for the late response. It is located in the Enhanced Warning Zones. Please enter our website and check again: https://www.dji.com/flysafe/geo-map.

I agree 100%. I'm in class 'G' airspace, I can fly normally with the RC & app'.
If I select smart modes (Spark) the DJI Go app' complains about restricted zone.
Why can I fly manual without any warnings, but 'Active Track' fails with a warning?
It does not add up!

When DJI started implementing their idea of NFZ’s in April 2014 it was obvious from the start it was going to create more problems than it solved.

I have a DJI F550 Hex with their DataLink/Groundstation installed. Prior to April 2014 everything worked as it should but after this date the hardware became unusable as DJI, in their infinite wisdom, designated my area as a NFZ where as the CAA did not. I emailed DJI to highlight this issue and their response was that the CAA (UK equivalent of the FAA) was wrong and the DJI database was correct. Interestingly in later releases of their Phantom NFZ database this was corrected but not for the DataLink/Groundstation which still to this day is just an inanimate paper weight.
