Hi all,

Just got a spark for christmas.
I charge my spark by way of the microUSb cable to the aircraft (i don't have a separate charger)
Because it takes a while to charge, I would like to plug my spark overnight...I plug it in and go to bed...

I did that last night and this morning I found that the spark is actually warm!!

Why is that? I hope I'm not overcharging the battery...

Is it safe to do that without damaging the spark/battery?

Thanks

hi there,

it is normal to have the device warming up during charging. the intelligent batteries are designed to stop charging when there are fully charged. there should be no issue.
you can check the manual here:

i hope this helps!

Hi, sir. The charging temperature of spark rang from 5°C- 40°C. If the battery is not overheated or the light flash normally, please do not feel worry about it. Thanks for your support.

I wouldn't charge a LiPo battery unless you're around it!
