Hi everyone,

I'm based in San Francisco and recently bought the spark, updated everything the latest firmware updates (see below), but cannot seem to be able to switch out of 5.8gh
App: 4.1.22
AC: 1.00.0900
RC: 1.00.0400
iOS Device: 11.2.2

I've been having some range issues and want to switch to 2.4gh bandwidth – can anyone help me here? Should I buy the OTG cable and try connecting to the RC?

Sir, I would recommend you tap the other number of channel index to change the bandwidth. Please have a try and keep us updated, thanks for your support.

I'm able to change the channel, but not the channel mode - ie. I can't see anywhere where I can select the 2.4 gh bandwidth

it is supposed to be a trial and error experiment to change the frequency.  But eventually you will have your way !
Keep on trying.

Please note that the lowest columnar mean less interference. Or you can follow advice in 3# and test a few times to find the badwidth you want to enter. Thanks for your patience.

If you scroll a little bit further down there should be a horizontally orientated list of channels to chose from (below the graph in your picture), the lower channels 1-11 (IIRC in the US) are on 2.4ghz. When you select one of those you should get a warning that the system will reset itself to switch channels so don't do anything until its done that.
