I use an iPhone 6 to fly my Spark and because when its flying its wi-fi is linked to the RC and i have it in Airplane mode i cannot download a map/satelite photos of my location (the map in the bottom left corner of the flight screen). I'm aware that Android devices can pre-download maps to the device to use. Why isn't this available for IOS which DJI seem to favour with everything else?

Is there a way to get maps on your IOS device whilst in flight/download them before you turn it into Airplane Mode?

Sir, I would recommend you cache the map before flight when your device is connected with Internet. You can enter the map and zoom in or out to locate the position. Hope it can help you.
