Hello,

A lot of people on here say that 1080p is surprisingly good, but when I tried it out for myself it wasn't sharp AT ALL and looked like it was taken by some 720p toy. Maybe because I was at high altitude (400 feet) and there was too many details? I would really like to try out 96 fps without losing so much quality.

Thanks

Most of us prefer the higher resolution that 2.7/4K rates give you, unfortunately, anything over 30 fps at 1080 comes at the cost of degraded video quality.

I’ve noticed a big difference recording 1080p @ 60p between the original Mavic and my new Mavic Platinum. I thought this was due to recent FW updates between owning both but clearly not.

Yea your 1080p look fine but it's in 30 fps. I wish there was a way for good quality 60fps+

1080x60 is unfortunately an issue with the Mavic Pro.

This is caused by the way the sensor used in the Mavic Pro handles antialiasing.  It was apparently corrected in the Platinum.

Hello,

We performed cameratests on a test picture in 1080p with different Mavic Pro's in a German speaking Mavicforum: 1080p @ 30 @ 60 and @ 96fps.
The Mavics were from different Manufacturers date. Result: From Mavic Production Date 01/2017 there is no antialiasing or binning up to 60fps with only one exception.
So it seems that DJI has made Changes to the camera since 01/2017.

Sadly your German site won't let us look at the pictures.
PS I use 2.7K cause the 1080 is so bad.

I record in 2.7K too 99% of the time. I'm more into stills anyway.

From what I understand 2.7K looks better than 4K because it's not compressed as much?

When you shoot at 1080P 96fps, it will generate a slow-motion video. And for your case, do you mean that the video from the SD card looks terrible? If yes, please try to upload a sample from SD card to Dropbox so I can check. Thank you.
